Markets change. Even the treatment of plastics and surfaces is not immune to globalisation with size, efficiency and skills becoming more and more important in this particular environment. For this reason, the Berlac Group is strengthening its brand portfolio by establishing a group of successful special trade names under a parent logo.

Over the years, a number of specialised companies have come under the wing of the Berlac Group, headquartered in Sissach, Switzerland. They have specialised in the development and production of high-end solutions for surface coatings and colouring plastics for different industrial sectors and applications. With their all-embracing expertise these companies produce high quality special and effect lacquers for the design and lifestyle industry, revolutionary markings for roads and halls, coloured protective coatings for industrial applications, innovative solutions for polyurethane and rubber refining, as well as high-end colours for plastics and surface coatings. All these professionals are now to be united under a common umbrella brand for the new Berlac Group with a group-wide corporate design.

With the new market presence the concentrated excellence of the corporate group is o be communicated for the first time to the outside world. In future, it will be immediately possible to recognise all companies as members of the Berlac Group by the new logo and by a uniform choice of colours.

The symbol of a ball with a stylish reflex is the uniting element for all brands of the Berlac Group. As a globe it symbolises materiality and international orientation. It represents all-embracing know-how, experience and quality. The reflex is the symbol for the finishing of plastics and surfaces with products of the Berlac Group. The uniform appearance strengthens the awareness for the individual brands as well as the parent trade mark. This adds to clarity and customers around the world can be sure that they will receive the acknowledged quality from each of these companies for the most challenging demands.

The new logo will be rolled out for Berlac AG at the beginning of 2011. By the end of the year all brands under the Berlac Goup will be sporting the new corporate design:
